A Quiet Place returns to the top of the Weekend Box Office | April 20-22, 2018

Paramount’s A Quiet Place returned to the top spot at the box office in its third weekend over the weekend. The thriller with legs took in an estimated $22.0 million domestically and bested last week’s top movie Rampage. A Quiet Place has now passed the $200 million mark globally, including $132.3 domestically and $75 million internationally.

Rampage dropped to the #2 spot over the weekend and took in another $21.0 million in its second weekend. The film has picked up $66.6 million in two weeks, but has also taken in another $216 million internationally.

STX Entertainment’s I Feel Pretty debuted at #3 over the weekend. The Amy Schumer starer picked up $16.2 million, followed at #4 by Fox Searchlight’s Super Troopers 2 which earned an estmiated $14.7 million. Universal’s Truth or Dare rounded out the top five with $7.9 million.

The box office landscape next weekend will shift with the highly anticipated Avengers: Infinity War which lands in theatres on Friday.
