Warner Bros. and DC Films’ Aquaman took the top spot at the box office for a third straight weekend. The comic book film earned another $30.7 million to bring its domestic haul to $259 million and a worldwide tally of $940 million.
Sony’s Escape Room debuted in the number two spot with an estimated $18.0 million while Disney’s Mary Poppins Returns took the third spot with an estimated $15.7 million. The film has a three week domestic total of $138.7 million.
Rounding out the top five was Sony’s Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse with another $13.0 million in its fourth week while Paramount’s latest Transformers film Bumblebee dropped to fifth place with $12.8 million. Bumblebee is just shy of $100 million after three weeks of release.

Next week will see the release of the family adventure film A Dog’s Way Home from Sony/Columbia, the Sci-Fi thriller Replicas from Entertainment Studios, and the comedy The Upside from STX Entertainment.
