Avengers repeats atop the Weekend Box Office | May 4-6, 2018

Disney and Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War took the top spot at the weekend box office for the second week in a row, taking in another $112.5 million. The film has now taken in $450.8 million domestically and $1.16 billion worldwide in two weekends.

Pantelion’s comedy Overboard debuted in the second spot with an estimated $14.7 million.

Paramount’s horror/thriller A Quiet Place continued to do solid numbers and took in another $7.6 million at the box office, which is pretty impressive that the little film is still in the top three after a month in theatres. The film, which was was produced for $17 million, now has $159 million domestically and another $95 million internationally.

STX Entertainment’s I Feel Pretty took in another $4.9 million to take fourth spot while Rampage earned another $4.6 million for fifth place.

Next week sees two wide releases with Universal’s thriller Breaking In while Warner Bros. (New Line) will release the comedy Life of the Party.
