Black Panther continues to soar at the Weekend Box Office | March 2-4, 2018

Disney / Marvel’s Black Panther continued to dominate the box office over the weekend with another $65.7 million at the box office. The film, which now has a domestic haul of $501 million, has a worldwide cume of $897 million.

Jennifer Lawrence’s latest film, thriller Red Sparrow from 20th Century Fox, debuted in the number 2 spot with an estimated $17.0 million. The opening has nearly eclipsed Lawrence’s last outing mother! which earned just $17.8 million.

MGM’s Death Wish remake starring Bruce Willis debuted in the #3 spot over the weekend with an estimated $13.0 million. Warner Bros.’ Game Night dropped to #4 in its second weekend with another $10.7 million while Sony’s Peter Rabbit dropped to #5 in its fourth weekend with another $10 million.

Next week sees the anticipated Disney release of A Wrinkle in Time. Check out the trailer below.
