Coco livens up the Weekend Box Office | November 24-26, 2017

Disney & Pixar’s latest animated feature Coco took in the top spot at the weekend box office with an estimated $49.0 million over the weekend. Including international cumes the film has taken in $153 worldwide so far. While the opening is on the lower end for Pixar films it’s in line with and just slightly below Cars 3 from earlier in the year.

Elsewhere the top four films from last week returned to round out the top five. Warner Bros.’ Justice League landed in second spot with an estimated $40.7 million while Lionsgate’s Wonder landed in third with $22.3 million. Disney and Marvel’s Thor: Ragnarok took the fourth spot with $16.8 million while Paramount’s Daddy’s Home 2 rounded out the top five with $13.2 million.
