Darby Mills Coming to Hamilton on May 9th #HamOnt

If you were a fan of Canadian Rock in the 80’s you would surely remember an Iconic band called The Headpins.

The Headpins featuring a young figure skating woman named Darby Mills began to take Canada by storm with their debut album Turn it Loud which sold 200,000 copies and was certified triple platinum. The sound of the band was the iconic voice of “The queen of Scream Mills.” Darby led The Headpins for 36 years touring all of Canada and the world entertaining fans until 2016 when she left the band to work on solo projects.

Now Darby Mills brings her iconic sound of The Headpins and her new project The Darby Mills Project to The Studio at First Ontario Centre (formerly Hamilton Place) May 9th at 7:30pm for a night of Rock and roll memories from The Headpins. Included in the show are such hits as “Just One More Time” and “Don’t it Make you Feel” along with newer releases from Flying Solo and last year’s release Live.

Also appearing on the show is Toronto based band Killer Dwarfs. Formed in 1981, Killer Dwarfs released their self titled album in 1983, and then signed with Epic Records in 1987, receiving critical acclaim worldwide with hits such as “Stand Tall” and “Dirty Weapons”.
