It’s back atop the Weekend Box Office | Sep 29-Oct 1, 2017

Thriller remake It returned to the top of the box office over the weekend after being dethroned last week. The film earned an estimated $17.3 million bringing its domestic cume to $291 million.

The new release American Made starring Tom Cruise debuted at the #2 spot with just over $17 million. The film edged out Kingsman: The Golden Circle which dropped to #3 with $17 million, though the placements could end up swapped once the final figures are released.

Warner Bros’ animated The LEGO Ninjago Movie dropped to the #4 spot over the weekend with an estimated $12.0 million while Sony’s Flatliners debuted at #5 with $6.7 million.

Next weekend Warner Bros. will release the sci-fi film Blade Runner 2049 while Lionsgate has the animated feature My Little Pony on tap.
