Toronto-based developer Vertex Pop launches Super Crush KO

Toronto-based indie game development studio Vertex Pop is bringing their latest game Super Crush KO to Steam and Nintendo Switch this week. The game launches on both platforms on January 16th. Their last game Graceful Explosion Machine was released back in 2017.

Super Crush KO is a fast-paced brawler set in a vibrant, near-future city. Zip up your favorite neon jacket and combo your way through swarms of deadly robots to save your kidnapped kitten and, while you’re at it, save humanity from an AI apocalypse. When a robot-commanding alien heartthrob kidnaps Karen’s adorable kitten Chubbz, Karen has no choice but to grab a laser blaster, put on her favourite neon jacket, and start kicking robot butt. Super Crush KO is a brawler with heart, intrigue, and The Cutest Cat In The Universe.

The game features lightning-fast gameplay that blends run n’ gun action and intense beat-em-up combat. Blast through a vibrant world inspired by colourful urban cityscapes and pastel skylines. The game will have online leaderboards and ranking systems to keep you coming back to S-Rank over 20 challenging levels.

Super Crush KO launches on Nintendo Switch and Steam on Thursday.
