Dundas Blues Minor Peewee hockey holding fundraiser at Friday’s Real McCoys game

Dundas Blues Minor Peewee hockey team is holding a Fundraiser during this Friday’s (February 24th) Dundas Real McCoys game in the JL Grightmire Arena. The event is to help Cate Swartzentruber, a Dundas hockey mom who is battling stage four cancer.

As part of the Chevrolet Good Deeds Cup, the peewee team will be hosting a bake sale in the arena lobby while the players will be collecting donations throughout the night in the arena.

Everyone who makes a donation will receive a raffle ticket to win some great prizes, including Hamilton Tiger-Cats football tickets. The team will also be selling raffle tickets for an autographed Connor McDavid Edmonton Oilers jersey.

Players wearing their DMHA jersey will be admitted free of charge. Fans are requested to fill the arena for Cate! Please support this worthwhile cause.

In addition, a “Go Fund Me” page has been set up for Cate. www.gofundrne.comicates-fight-for-life
