Dundas and Glanbrook gear up for new season

The Provincial Junior Hockey League, which includes the Dundas Blues and the Glanbrook Rangers, has released the upcoming 2019-2020 schedule which will start next week.

For the Hamilton area teams, Glanbrook gets things started in just ten days. The Rangers open their season at home from Glanbrook Arena on Wednesday, September 11th when they’ll play host to the Hespeler Shamrocks at 7:30pm.

Their crosstown rivals in Dundas get their season started on the road when the Blues travel to Peach King Arena on Friday, September 13th to face the Grimsby Peach Kings. Then the very next night they’ll open the newly renovated Market Street Arena when they host their home opener on Saturday, September 14th at 2:00pm. The Blues will play host to the Niagara Riverhawks.

In total the two teams will face each other six times over the course of the 40+ game season.

  4. Glanbrook Rangers at Dundas Blues — Thu, Nov 21 at 7:30 pm (Market Street)
  5. Dundas Blues at Glanbrook Rangers — Wed, Dec 11 at 7:30 pm (Glanbrook Arena)
  6. Glanbrook Rangers at Dundas Blues — Thu, Jan 02 at 7:30 pm (Market Street)
