Dundas Real McCoys, after three games on the road, are headed back home, well sort of. Not to the JL Grightmire Arena in Dundas, but to their temporary home, the Harry Howell Arena in Waterdown. The Howell Arena is situated at Clappison’s Corners, west of Highway 6 on Highway 5.

Friday night, the McCoys will take on the 1958 World Champion Whitby Dunlops, Friday night (November 9th) at 7:30 p.m. The following night they will play the second game of their home and home series with the Dunlops in the Whitby Iroquois Sports Complex at 6:30 p.m.

The McCoys could play as many as six home games in the Howell Arena before they could skate on the ice of the Grightmire Arena against the Hamilton Steelhawks on Friday, January 4th. That is only an estimate based on information provided by the City of Hamilton.

Dundas comes into the weekend series with a record of one win and two losses. Dundas defeated Whitby 7-2 on Saturday, October 20th, and then lost 4-1 to the Hamilton Steelhawks and 5-4 to the Stoney Creek Generals over the weekend.

Following the first three games of the Allan Cup Hockey rookie Guy Polillo leads the club in point scoring with a goal and six assists. Dustin Alcock has scored four times and set up one goal, while Jake Goldberg has picked up two goals and two assists. Captain Cam Watson has a goal and two assists to his credit.
