Sault College will face Fanshawe in the Men’s Gold Medal game at the OCAA Curling Championships In Hamilton. Nick Servant’s Sault foursome downed Confederation, skipped by Kurtwood McGuire, 5-3 in the semi finals.
Charlie Richard and Fanshawe topped Humber’s Sean Armstrong 5-2.
The final will be played Sunday at 9am at Glendale Golf and Country Club.
Confederation will meet Humber for the bronze.
The Fanshawe Falcons will play the Humber Hawks for the women’s Gold Medal, also Sunday at 9am. Fanshawe’s Kaitlyn Poirier scored three in an extra end to defeat Fleming’s Paige Droog 7-4.
Meanwhile, Humber’s Cassie Paccanaro and her foursome got a stern test from championships’ host Mohawk Mountaineers, before pulling out a 5-4 verdict over Alex Nunes and her rink.
The bronze medal game will be between Fleming and Mohawk.
The mixed title was won by Humber’s Jonah Paquette, 8-7 over Fanshawe’s Brett Henderson on Saturday.
