Former Cardinals managers and coach returning for 2019

The Hamilton Cardinals are announced over the weekend the return of General Manager Jeff Lounsbury, Assistant GM Larry Wood and 2018 Coach of the Year Dean Castelli.

“I am extremely excited to be back, to continue to build on what we started last season. I think its important to have the stability in the baseball operations and that allows ownership to focus on the branding, marketing and growth of the franchise, while also allowing them to enjoy and watch the on field product.” stated Lounsbury

“It’s great to have Castelli back as well, he did a great job with the players last season and we look forward to improving on last year’s incredible turn around season.”

As reported by Mountain News, a five-year agreement has been reached between the City of Hamilton and CARSTAR Canada, the Hamilton-based company, to purchase the naming rights to Bernie Arbour Memorial Stadium beginning January 1st, 2019. The naming rights are valued at $50,000.
