Graydon James scores lone goal as Kitchener downs Ancaster

The preseason growing pains continue for the Avalanche as they dropped their fourth straight game of the preseason in a 6-1 decision.

The game was the second in a row for Ancaster and Kitchener, two teams who won’t see each other again for the rest of the year.

Graydon James scored the lone goal for Ancaster in the third period on the power play, with assists from Robert Normandeau and Jack Wismer. The goal game at 11:21 of the final frame and was the final goal of the game after Kitchener controlled the scoreboard through the first forty minutes.

Ancaster will wrap up the preseason with games on Tuesday night when they host Brampton and then visit Guelph on Thursday night. The regular season kicks off on September 16th with Ancaster’s home opening on Saturday, September 17th at 7:30pm.
