Hamilton City plays to scoreless draw in Etobicoke

It wasn’t a win but Hamilton City did pick up a point on Friday in Etobicoke as the lads played to a scoreless tie at Centennial Stadium.

Both the Serbian White Eagles and Hamilton City had opportunities to come away with a win, including White Eagles’ forward Milos Scepanovic who came very close to finding the net and Hamilton City’s Josip Keran, who almost gave the visiting team the victory.

With the draw Hamilton City return home with a 3-7-3 record for 12 points. The team sits in sixth position in the CSL. The Serbian White Eagles meanwhile sit with a 5-5-2 record for 17 points and fourth in the standings.

Hamilton returns home to Cardinal Newman Stadium in Stoney Creek next Friday night August 19th at 8:00 PM when they’ll take on the first ranked North York Shooters.
