Honey Badgers rattled by Saskatchewan in 113-95 loss

Ricky Tarrant Jr. scored 36 points on Thursday night for the Hamilton as the Honey Badgers suffered their first loss of the season 113-95 at the hands of the Saskatchewan Rattlers. The two teams will face off again in a rematch on Saturday afternoon from the FirstOntario Centre.

The Honey Badgers had the lead after the first quarter with the black and gold netting four points more than the home team through the first ten minutes. But things turned around for Saskatchewan in the second quarter as the Rattlers more than doubled the offensive output to finish the half. While Hamilton had a better outing in the third quarter, a soft final push saw Saskatchewan never relinquish the lead and take the game.

Demetrius Denzel-Dyson has 19 points on the night and Joe Rocca had ten points off the bench for the Honey Badgers.

Next up for Hamilton they will host a rematch of Saskatchewan on Saturday afternoon at 5pm ET from the FirstOntario Centre.
