Hurricanes announce signings after Mini Camp

The Hamilton Hurricanes football club held their mini camp over the weekend and announced a slew of signings after the event on Sunday. A grand total of eighteen players were announced over the ‘Canes’ social media platforms.

The players include two former McMaster Marauders including 6’1 225 lb linebacker and Hamilton native Steven Malcolm. Malcolm went to Bishop Tonnos Catholic Secondary School in Hamilton. The second former Marauder signed on Sunday is 6’3 295 lb offensive lineman and Thorold native Johnny Grant.

Other signings include former Hamilton Football Association Ticats receiver Nathan Bruzzese as well as current HFA Ticats receiver Cody Adams. Locally former St Thomas More offensive lineman John Diberardo and defensive back Rooks Llewellyn were also signed. Former Saltfleet Storm and 5’10 200 lb running back Jamahl Burke was signed as was former Hamilton Hurricane Matt Dewit.
