Bringing much of their roster to bear over the course of the night, the McMaster Marauders pieced together their seventh win of the season, and fifth sweep, in brushing aside the Brock Badgers Friday.
Set scores were 25-16, 25-23 and 25-16 in favour of the Marauders, who handed Brock their seventh loss of the season.
Brandon Koppers provided the bulk of the scoring punch for the hosts, pounding down 14 kills and adding an ace and three and a half blocks for 17.5 points.
Showing well in his turn in the lineup, Calvin Lee had 24 assists and six digs, making his touch count on both the offensive and defensive sides of the ball.
While they rarely hit top gear themselves, dedicated as they were to mixing and matching the lineup, the Marauders held the Badgers to just 11 per cent hitting in the win.
NEXT UP: The Marauders play host to the Windsor Lancers Saturday as part of a four-game marathon day at Burridge Gym. That match is set for first serve at 2:00 p.m.
