By Fraser Caldwell

Balanced offence was the order of the day for the Marauders Saturday, with five different McMaster players crossing the try line in Peterborough en route to a 36-25 win over Trent.

With the victory, the Marauders improved to 2-1 on the season and bounced back after suffering their first loss of the season a week earlier at home. They sit second in the OUA’s East division behind the unbeaten Queen’s Gaels (3-0).

Fullback Scott Leonard led the way for Mac on the score sheet, scoring twice, while wings Kanishka Almeida and Aiden Muldoon, scrum half Cole Brown and hooker Jack McRogers also found paydirt Saturday.

Brown converted three times to rack up a total of 11 points personally.

NEXT UP: The Marauders remain on the road to confront another OUA East opponent when they travel to Toronto for a match against the Varsity Blues on Saturday, September 28.
