Mohawk’s men’s and women’s cross country teams are both ranked this week, by the Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association.
The CCAA ranks the Mountaineer men as number eight in the country. The Ontario Colleges Athletic Association (OCAA) ranks the Mohawk men number two in the province.
Mohawk has had some excellent results in invitationals this year, including two victories by Kyle Rooke.
The Mountaineer women are also ranked number two in Ontario and are number eight in the country.
Kaitlyn Pansegrau of Mohawk has already won a race and finished fourth in another.
The Mountaineers are gearing up for the OCAA Cross Country Championships, to be hosted by Centennial College in Scarborough October 27.
