Mohawk Women Hang Tough In Curling

Alexandria Nunes’ Mohawk women’s foursome blasted Humber 10-3 in their final preliminary match at the OCAA Curling Championships in Sault Ste. Marie Saturday (Feb.10).

The Mountaineers finished their regulation play with a 2-3 record. Whether they will play any more depends on Humber losing to Fleming.
In the Mountaineers win over Humber, they scored four in the third end, two in the fifth and stole two in the sixth.
Earlier, Jacob Delisle’s Mohawk rink lost 6-4 to Fanshawe and finished the prelims with a 3-3 mark,
However, they were eliminated.
