Mohawk had a win and loss against Cambrian of Sudbury in OCAA volleyball at the David Braley Athletic and Recreation Centre Saturday afternoon (Nov. 29).
The Mountaineer men swept the Golden Shield 25-16, 25-22, 25-18, as Bradley Regier had 16 kills, three stuff blocks and six digs. Trevor McLaughlin recorded 13 kills and three digs. Charlie Hancock produced nine kills, one service ace and four digs and Mark Kaveckas had 35 assists to go with three kills, one block and four digs.
For Cambrian, Hayden Kosmerly had 20 points, one ace and eight digs.
Mohawk improved its record to 7-1, while Cambrian slipped to 2-7.
