With just two games left in the regular season the Bengals were looking for some solid momentum into the playoffs. The black and gold split the last four games winning two and losing two, including a pair of intense overtime games with the division leading Elora Mohawks.
The Bengals found their groove on Saturday afternoon at The Dave as they handily defeated the visiting London Blue Devils 29-8. The game was the higest scoring game for the Bengals this season, eclipsing their previous high of 18 goals last month. That win was also at the expense of the Blue Devils.
Luke Robinson scored a season high ten goals in the winning effort. That prowess was seconded by Tye Argent and Braedon Saris who had four goals a piece. Dawson Brown had a trio of goals while Hunter Aggus and Jacob Parkinson had a pair. Tanner Brennecke, Ken Sproat, Aaron Underwood, and Coltrane Tyson also found the back of the net in the victory.
Next up for the Bengals they will play one final regular season game on Monday night from The Dave. Hamilton will host a rematch with the Niagara Riverhawks, who they lost to last Wednesday night in the Falls. Nigara are 12-6 and are in second place in the South West division.
Game time is set for 8:00pm.
