Slow start for Kilty B’s in St Catharines

Hamilton and St Catharines finished second and third place in the regular season. St Catharines had four more victories in the win column through the regular season. Through seven meetings the Falcons had the edge with 4 wins to the Kilty B’s three. Both teams also made short work of their opening round opponents and both the Falcons and Kilty B’s swept their way through. The second round of the playoffs are going to be more of a challenge for both teams.

The series started on Friday night in St Kitts and the home team Falcons came out soaring. While Tanner Brennecke was the lone bright spot for the B’s with a goal at the midway mark of the game it was the Falcons that kept the goal horn going through the game.

By the end of the game the Falcons came away with a 5-1 victory over the Kilty B’s.

Hamilton looks to regroup as the series moves to the Hammer. The Kilty B’s will host the Falcons on Monday night at 7pm from the Dave Andreychuck “The Hive” Mountain Arena.
